This is a dream course straight from the heavens. Im convinced this is nothing less than a gift of god. What am I talking about? It's a Surf & Turf cooking class hosted by Ann Marie of Cheeseslave posted on NourishedKitchen.com my newest enterprise of discovery in the true nutrition world. They're actually giving away one free pass to all the classes! Wooooh! I would be sooo grateful to be the winner! I am very much into healthy eating habits and after 2 whole years of being convinced by the pseudo-veggie quackery that swarming the internet, i've been finally filled in on real nutrition(What a gift!).
Yes it is OK and extremely healthy for you to eat meat! It becomes blatantly obvious for a 150 lb 6'1" man after your friend tells you, you look sick. AHH! Yes 35 lb later and whole bunch of muscle previously forgotten I can tell you, Eat meat! its good for you.
It's like a profound realization that re-contextualizes your whole life. The only thing like it is a profound realization that re-contextualizes your whole life! LOL! Seriously I felt a body high the first time I had a taco in 2 years and my mind was overcome with gratitude.
I will say that If your coming back to the light side, do it in the right manner. This means eating organic, grass-fed, hormone free meat. No anti-biotics no BS. Thats why im so excited that this online cooking course is being offered. It's all about grass-fed beefs, sustainable seafood and true nutrient dense foods, and she is teaching how to buy meat, how to cook the all so discounted organ meats, and how to buy in bulk and get the most for your hard earned buck!
All in all this is truly something special, hitting every major craving on the way to great health. Did I mention that my absolute favorite food weakness is being covered also??? Yes their is a bond that me and bread have, (it must have been all those tortillas and sourdough loaves growing up) but I truly can't live without it. However, the stuffed feeling and bad digestion might be enough to put me over... Until then I know addressing grain-free recipes will be the answer.
So yes this is the best cooking class i've ever heard of nutrionally, and yes I will be in eating like a king if I do win the contest, and hopefully saving money at the same time! Thanks Nourished Kitchen!
Here's the class!

Ahahaha
Can i just say how much i have been entertained lately by the subtleties of life! Constant comical genius!
This world has been thought up so well and with soooo much attention to detail. All I mean is all the facial twitches, body language and uniqueness each individual that i know displays is some times too much for me! I love it! I love everyone. Unconditionally. So naturally there are no judgements involved and thats what sometimes makes it that much more funny. My favorite spiritual teacher has stated that laughter is one of the gateways to god(the creator, source energy or you fill in the blank) and its in the forgiveness that is intimately associated with the act that makes this true.
Haven't you ever scanned your room for your cell phone right before you were ready to run out the door and had to halt all mentalizations and just give up to the reality of the moment. The reality that your life cant continue until you find that device that carries with it infinite potential to change your day from sitting at home making music to being out in the music of life with all your best friends. That's HUGE! Sometimes. lol. What happens next? Well you sit down for a breath and realize that the phone is strapped on the small pocket of your jacket that your wearing behind that random item(pitch tuner) that you decided you needed today. Ahahahaha of course.
Ive reached a place where these little incidents that normally "E-go" would instantaneously pick up on and say Duh cmon alex your better than that have you been around too many stoners??? now comes to me as "oh, ok of course thats the way it is" and its the forgiveness of myself which is key in making this seeming mundane hit to my being become a trascendental experience where i lift myself up through laughter. Its powerful juju to be able to truly laugh at yourself. It almost makes you invincible to others judgements of you. You've already came to grips with the fact that your going to be generalized as a pothead because you work at a collective. So what? Now its funny that somebody is playing into that sterotype.
